About the event
Join us for a hands-on Regenerative Agriculture training, designed to give Irish farmers practical skills and insights into running diverse, profitable, and ecologically resilient farm enterprises. This event is held in conjunction with the European Institute of Innovation, Technology and Food and Barrie Quinn of Portnoo Market Garden.
Participants will explore pasture-raised eggs, forest-raised pigs, 100% grass-fed beef systems, no-dig market gardening, and Korean Natural Farming (KNF), with a strong focus on integrating low-input, regenerative practices into everyday farm management. Topics include mobile infrastructure, animal health, adaptive grazing, soil and water health, composting, fertility building, and KNF applications across livestock and cropping systems.
The training also covers enterprise planning, financial viability, and marketing strategies, including brand development, customer engagement, and practical tools for farm planning. All content is anchored in real-world experience at Mulroy Meadow Farm, with guidance on how participants can apply these practices to their own farms.
